“I allow no other rule, whether of faith or practice, than the Holy Scriptures.” - John Wesley
Adult Sunday School: Upcoming Classes
October 5, 2025—Part 3: Galatians 2:15-21
Sometimes a single passage of Scripture can change the way we see the whole Christian life. Galatians 2:15–21 is one of those places. In just a few verses, Paul invites us to see grace and faith with fresh eyes, and to remember why Christ alone is our hope. He gives us four powerful truths about our life in Christ, and we’re going to take our time unpacking each one. If we miss these, we miss everything. I hope you’ll join us this Sunday at 9:30 in Townsend Hall. It’s always a blessing to learn together.

Adult Sunday School
John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, was known for his emphasis on Scripture. He often referred to himself as "a man of one book". He viewed the Bible, God’s Word, as the highest authority for Christian belief and practice. And we hold the same view. You are invited to join us each Sunday Morning for an Adult Sunday School class at 9:30 am in the fellowship hall, Townsend Hall, in the lower level of the church, every Sunday from September through May, where we explore and learn God’s Word in depth. You may enter from the Princeton Avenue entrance, then walk straight down the hall to Townsend Hall. Our leaders are Dick Wehling, Jeff Baumbach and Dan Franco.
Purpose
For each passage of the Bible that we study, we aim to answer the following questions:
Observation: What does the text say?
Interpretation: What does the text mean as God intended it?
Application: What does the text mean for us today and how can we apply it to our lives?
